Jenni Kayne Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan Review

Spoiler alert; the moment this soft, snuggly knit arrived on my doorstep, I knew it was going to be a winner. I found myself reaching for it almost daily for a few reasons. It’s cosy and warm (perfect as we hurtle towards mid-winter), I adore the colour (I have the russet brown), and I love the way the slouchy fit either complements or adds a shapely component to my outfits. Of course, I’m talking about the Jenni Kayne Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan.  Get 15% off any Jenni Kayne purchase with the code ‘JamieLee15’ Having seriously put this cardigan through its paces,…

Wearing the Marle Agnes Jacket

There aren’t too many items which land in my closet, that I find myself reaching for day, after day, after day. But the Marle Agnes Jacket is one such piece (PR), being the perfect weight for our mild Sydney winters. I’ve worn it here as part of a fairly monochromatic outfit. The quilted nature of the jacket adds in a nice touch of additional texture, and I love the silhouette. VIVAIA Shoe Review

If there’s one item in my wardrobe that I’m fiercely passionate about, it’s shoes. For me, these are the key element which can absolutely transform the way an outfit looks. They can be used to convey a feeling of formality or ease, as a statement, or align some sense of balance through their colour or style. In partnership with VIVAIA, I’ll be chatting through four styles that I’ve added to my wardrobe from the brand. During the month of June, VIVAIA are…

Coastal Grandmother aesthetic

I recently shared a video where I chatted through the 2022 trends that I am loving, and the one I forgot to include? Any outfit that gives me coastal grandmother vibes. These two recent outfits, both lean heavily into that trend… even if I live a good 15 minute drive to the nearest beach. And despite it being early winter here in Sydney, I’m finding most days it’s still warm enough to get away with a maxi length dress with a cosy knit. Clearly, I’m taking full advantage. Probably one of the things that has me drawn to the trend…

New in my wardrobe: navy nylon trench

Ahh the old wardrobe wishlist. Once the cornerstone of all my sartorial purchases, these days it’s felt like a bit of a moving beast. Rolling in and out with the tide, as items I liked one month fall out of favour the next. Quite telling of the state of my closet, and that what’s on my wishlist these days is more of a “nice to have” than a “had to have”. Wearing Everlane air tee; Everlane barrel leg pants; Nilby P trench (use code ‘Mademoiselle2022’ for an additional 10% off sitewide); About Arianne pumps; Fendi bag; Monica Vinader hoops; Rosefield…
