Summer Dress Outfit Options

The sun is shining, there’s barely a cloud in the sky. And, just ignoring the fact that it’s a sharp 17 deg winter’s day, I thought I’d share some cute summer dress outfit options for those of you in the northern hemisphere. Since falling pregnant with my son in 2019, I’ve really found myself coming back full circle to wearing dresses. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you why dresses are a great foundation piece to have in your closet… OUTFIT ONE Wearing Marimekko X Uniqlo floral dress; Charles & Keith sandals I’ve really been exploring elements of my…

OOTD: Chunky cashmere & straight leg pants

An outfit from a couple weeks’ back, but pretty representative of one of my go-to looks for our (very) mild winter here in Sydney. A nice cosy knit (usually with a tee or long-sleeve layered underneath); a tailored trouser which cuts off just above the ankle; and a smart shoe. If I’m honest, I have to say that I haven’t worn those Gucci loafers as much as anticipated when I bought them. Weekly Wishlist & New in from YOOX

For this week’s wishlist, I thought I’d share some of my favourite picks from the YOOX sale, along with a few new pieces I’ve added to my wardrobe. Let’s run through my favourites first…. Tibi beige tweed blazer | I’m having a bit of a moment with Tibi. I first discovered the brand while still living in Wellington, and it didn’t take me long to splurge on my first piece. Amy Smilovic has such a unique POV on style, and that’s evident in her clothing; especially since the pandemic hit. This blazer in particular is gorgeous; it’s an oatmeal-toned tweed,…

OOTD: Fawn neutrals

Another quick little OOTD wearing one colour head-to-toe. I tend to opt for creams, blacks or navy tones when doing these monochrome looks, so this felt like a fresh take on one of my favourite ways to dress. Also, continuing to wear cardigans as tops; a great way to make more use out of your knits. Wearing mine tucked in fully, but also looks great worn loose too. Wearing Boden cashmere cardigan (size L); H&M trousers (size 36/UK8); Vaneli two tone pumps (size US9 and also here); Louis Vuitton tote bag (MM size); Country Road necklace
