Jo Malone Frangipani Flower Cologne

A quick update today to share a current fragrance favourite; Jo Malone’s Frangipani Flower Cologne. I’ve been reaching for this every day, as it’s a wonderfully light perfume, with that rich floral scent of the frangipani flower. It has a sunny disposition that makes me feel like I’m on holiday in Hawaii, despite it being autumn in Sydney. Top notes of jasmine petals; middle notes of frangipani and ylang-ylang; base notes of sandalwood and benzoin. PS. I get asked a lot about the sillage of Jo Malone fragrances, and would say like all perfumes, they’re most intense when first applied.…

Autumn Mini Capsule Wardrobe Essentials w/ Everlane

Every wardrobe starts with the building blocks. Core closet staples which are basics based on your personal style. This would always be my starting point when planning out a capsule wardrobe; and I thought today in partnership with Everlane I could share ten essentials that always, always have a place in my autumn wardrobe. Wearing Everlane cashmere crew (size S); Everlane cheeky straight jeans (size 25 ankle); the Everlane modern loafers 2.0 (worn in size US10 / review here); and Everlane oversized wool blazer (in size US4) There’s a few things I tend to look for. Sezane Spring 2021 Clothing Review

I know I’m not alone in getting caught up in Sezane’s beautiful marketing campaigns and imagery. And their recently launched spring collection made my heart sing. It’s no secret I’m a neutrals girl through and through, but I found myself itching to add a couple of playful statement tops to my wardrobe (an area currently lacking). Shopping online can be really tricky, as you can’t feel the fabrics or get a true sense of how an item will drape and fit on the body. I’ve always believed that it’s such a tactile experience. So I thought I’d focus a bit…

Intentional Fit vs Desired Fit

I wanted to unpack a few more thoughts on a topic I shared recently over on my Instagram; the difference between how a designer intends a garment to fit, and how we want the garment to fit on us. Because they’re not one and the same. There’s three main touch points I wanted to expand on, and while I don’t find them to be equally linear or even congruent with each other, hopefully this will give you some insight into my thinking. Wearing Sezane t-shirt; H&M trousers; Witchery belt; Everlane blazer; Fendi bag; Country Road necklace The reason I bring…

Repeating a summer outfit fave

Sharing one of my final outfits of the summer; an easy breezy combo which I’ve worn many times before in slightly different variations. As you’ll know, I’m not afraid to repeat my outfits, and I think once you’ve found a style or a pairing you like, you should wear it over and over. Having a style uniform – even a loosely defined one – can make getting dressed so much easier. Wearing Madewell courier shirt; Among shorts; Everlane city sandals; Louis Vuitton Neverfull; Linjer earrings; Mejuri necklace; Rosefield watch The Madewell courier shirt is a firm favourite of mine which…
