Three new spring season purchases

I’ve been loving the shift in seasons, and the opportunity to finally revisit so many of my spring/summer favourites. It feels like an age since I last wore them, given I spent the spring and summer of last year cooking up a baby; anything I owned with a fitted waist was completely off the menu. So from a “wardrobe building” perspective, there hasn’t been many gaps I’ve felt the need to fill. Instead, I’ve been wholly content with what’s already stashed away in my wardrobe. The closet makeover has definitely helped too – but I’ll be sharing more on that…

The Curated Classic Shoulder Bag Review

This review has been a long time coming, and after numerous requests, I’m finally downloading all my thoughts on The Curated Classic Shoulder Bag. You’ll probably have spotted this bag featured in one of my daily outfits over on Instagram. It’s one of a small handful of bags I’ve had on frequent rotation. Perhaps more so than others, as I’ve been on a major neutrals kick of late. Wearing Arket t-shirt; Everlane cheeky straight jeans*; Everlane drape trench*; Gucci loafers; The Curated Classic Shoulder Bag *; Missoma earrings; Mejuri necklace*; Ana Luisa ring* (10% off with code “Mademoiselle10”) Just like…

Sezane Autumn Collection 2020: What’s in my cart

I can’t quit you. It’s a pretty accurate way to describe how I feel about Sezane. Every new collection that drops, I find myself convinced I have to have something; which if anything, it’s a clear sign their marketing team is doing something right. So I thought today I’d share what’s currently in my cart from the Sezane Autumn 2020 collection.  #1 | Sezane Ornella Jumper First up is the “Ornella” jumper in the colour light camel. I was drawn to this piece because I loved the look of the fine pointelle design throughout, and the button detail at the…

Winter Most Worn Items 2020

If I could sum up our winter in one word, it’d be mild. This was the second winter (aside from the first year we moved to Sydney) that I rarely needed to wear a coat. I have to admit, despite my distaste for cold weather, I felt a little cheated out of wearing one of my favourite “staples” in my winter wardrobe. Safe to say, there were a few surprises in my winter most worn items for 2020. Let’s quickly run through them all, and wrap up with a couple of observations. Alternatively if you’d like to see this in…

Oliver Cabell Review: Dream Flat, Dream Mule & Low 1 Sneaker

Another week, another shoe review. Clearly, I have a weak spot when it comes to my closet. That aside, today I wanted to share an Oliver Cabell review on the three pairs I have from the brand (PR); the dream flat, dream mule, and low 1 sneaker. I first discovered Oliver Cabell approximately two years ago, around the time that I was starting to explore adding a pair of sneakers to my wardrobe. I was drawn to the transparent nature of their pricing, and the level of detail given for each of the materials used. Uncommon in the fashion industry.…
