The four-month sleep regression is exhausting. I’m almost tempted to start spending my days in loungewear, working where I need to from bed. My weekend outfits definitely reflect that, as I opted for easy, relaxed basics which were the next best thing. Wrapping up the week in another denim look. These Madewell jeans are fast becoming one of my most worn items – something I see myself reaching for again and again throughout the next three weeks. All dressed up and no where to go. At least, that sums up how I felt when I put this on yesterday. I’d wanted to include a couple of “dressier” tops in my capsule – this sculptural option being one of them – as I could see myself easily falling into a bit of a rut. You know, reaching for the same handful of items over and over. Decided to go for the Parisian classic striped top and skinny jeans combo for day eight. One of my girlfriends jokes that this is the “mum uniform”; they’re items we all likely have in our closets, and it’s a pairing that always just seems to *work*.
