Autumn Outfit #6: Parisian Inspired

This is an early autumn outfit that I never quite got around to sharing until now. But I thought would be perfect for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere, wanting an easy outfit idea for spring. Wearing Uniqlo mens Breton stripe top (old but similar womens style here); Isabel Marant wrap skirt (old but similar style here); Everlane 40 hour flats; Chanel vintage classic flap; Muru Jewellery sun pendant; Missoma marina bracelet; Missoma chain bracelet When I first started my blog, and started to shift towards a more minimal colour palette, I was heavily inspired by Parisian style. April Beauty Edit ’20

April was one of those months that was pretty heavy on trialling out new beauty products. Towards the end of the month I also decided to rejig my daily makeup essentials. I find this a great way to recycle through my products, and it keeps things feeling fresh; even if I’m not buying any new makeup. In addition to these products, I also trialled a handful of Mecca’s new April releases. Autumn Outfit #5: New Neutrals

I seem to have two standard outfit combos at the moment. A chunky knit sweater paired with a skirt; alternatively, some kind of tank or blouse paired with high-waisted skinny jeans or trousers. This outfit was a bit of the former, pairing my cosy ribbed sweater from L’Envers with an MLM Label midi skirt which looks like liquid silk. Wearing L’Envers ribbed sweater; MLM Label midi skirt; Everlane editor slingback heels; Polene Numero Sept Mini Bag; Missoma earrings & marina necklace; Chupi signet ring If you’ve been following me on Instagram, then you’ve probably seen that my wardrobe has started…

Jimmy Choo Bing Mules Designer Shoe Dupe

While the only place I’m really getting dressed up for right now is our living room, I still can’t resist a glitzy pair of shoes. The latest fancy addition to my wardrobe is a designer shoe dupe for the Jimmy Choo Bing Mules (also here and here), which I fell head over heels for when I first spotted them a few months back. Suffice to say, the $1200 AUD price tag for the designer version was a little out of my budget; especially considering I seldom would have the opportunity to wear a pair of shoes that special. As far…

Five most loved items in my wardrobe (2020 edition)

What items in your closet do you reach for when you’re at a loss of what to wear? Is there a particular piece that always just works no matter what you pair it with? As I’ve re-evaluated my style and the contents of my wardrobe, I’ve been thinking about my answers to these questions. And the items I keep coming back to, just happen to be some of my most worn and most cherished in my wardrobe. If you’re a long-time follower, I get the sense that these will come as no surprise, but I thought today I’d run through…
