While we’re on the topic of pink, why stop at clothing when there are walls to splash the perfect shade of powder pink, and blush-toned pillows to add a bit of softness to a monochromatic living room. You’d be forgiven for thinking that this wouldn’t normally be my first choice, as my Pinterest and the overflowing inspiration folders on my Mac would suggest a growing (or staunch) fondness for the Scandinavian style of minimalism – everything in shades of ivory, grey and black. I may still be slightly on the sartorial fence, but I’m warming up to the idea of a touch of pink. Something tasteful, or subtle, like a pink mug, a pink coaster, or a pink cushion casually strewn amongst the others on the couch. Whether or not I can get away with that last one is the question..
i’m not usually a fan of pink but wow the tom dixon lamps go perfect with the blush chair, what stunning bit of home styling!
All the pictures are so lovely and are what my house would look like in an ideal world. I’ve always been a lover of pink, but I had to tone it down (a lot) when I started living with my husband. Now our place is mostly in a neutral palette of white, black, and gray. Small pink accents (especially pale pink) look great with b/w interiors, so I got away with adding some pink pillows to the mix. Go for something small and see how you like it! Love your blog!
