Luke and I have pretty much dived into wedding planning head first, and it’s not until you start planning your own that you begin to realise how much goes into it. Thankfully, we still have quite a lot of time ahead of us (no harm in getting a little head start!), but as I see it, there’s no time like the present.
So while I’m busy deciding on things like venue, menu and table settings (amongst other things), at least there’s one thing I know I’m set on – aside from the dress, that is. While those fire engine red rock studs are striking, I already have a pair of pinky-plum rockstud kitten heels hidden away in my closet just begging to be worn, and I couldn’t think of a more perfect – or appropriate – occasion.
When it comes to busting out a move on the dance floor though, I’m not so sure. So, maybe I haven’t got this shoe situation as sorted as I think; or does it just present a new opportunity to find a party perfect pair of heels?
How perfect! They are going to look amazing

A pair of these shoes have been on my wish list for a long time. I love these photos.
They’ll look so beautiful on the big day! Wouldn’t harm to have a back up pair for the dancing though 😉 x

I sorely regret buying shoes just for one occasion i.e. birthdays and soirees – stick to the rockstuds and spend the extra cash on something that really means something on the big day… The flowers, the food, the booze !

I totally hear you! Good thing I already picked up the rock studs not too long ago, and it’s a good excuse to drag them out!
Those shoes would be perfect for your wedding day! 🙂
I got away with a little pair of white ballet flats on my wedding day – the dress was so big you couldn’t see the shoes anyway, haha. Super comfortable too.

Thanks Mica! I’m hoping so – my dress is shorter in the front and has a train at the back, so my shoes are going to be visible so have to make sure that whatever I chose matches… No pressure right? haha.
T just had her wedding day and we both (bride + MOH) wore a pair of almond-coloured rocktuds… they were absolutely perfect & every time we wear them now we’ll have those memories! It was such a fun thing to do together, buying and wearing the same shoes hehe. Also I cannot believe how comfortable they. It’s pretty rare for are for a brand new pair of heels to feel good on your feet for an entire day.
You’re lucky in that you already own some and that will take a huge chunk of $$ off your wedding costs hehe

Aw that is so sweet! I really love that. It’s been on of those really simple decisions. I’ve seen a couple of pairs of heels I’m thinking of wearing for dancing in (Yvonne Kone blush suede pumps – sold out! Nicholas Kirkwood lace pumps – probably a little high! And a pair of rockstud flat look a likes) but it’s hard to decide so far out. Can you tell I’m trying to keep my options limited? x
