Karen Walker top & skirt, Charlotte Olympia panda flats, Proenza Schouler PS11 satchel
I’ve been slowly gearing up for Project 333 in March (yes, you read that right), by giving my wardrobe a small refresh, with a focus to get more wear out of what I currently have. So, put simply, I’ve been culling the dead weight to make a little more space for the things I do wear and love. It helps to know that I’ve constantly got the rules of the 5PFW Challenge in the back of my mind, so I’m hoping that will help to keep things streamlined over the next six months (I’m barely two weeks in so figures I’d still be feeling over-confident!).
Planning for my Project 333 Capsule is… coming along… but I won’t lie when I say I’m struggling a little with the thought of including shoes within the 33 piece limit. I’m still lacking any real wet weather shoes (velvet, suede, and opened toed sandals aren’t rain-friendly, unfortunately), and I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve got a shoe-drobe full of cute and quirky flats that I wouldn’t mind whipping out on a regular basis.
Despite focusing on a palette of very simple neutrals (you won’t see me detracting much from this colour palette – ever!), I’m struggling to find room to include these cute Charlotte Olympia panda flats into my Fall/Autumn capsule. I’ve been trying to think of a few workarounds – four different pairs of shoes a month (so 12 options in total) or just not including shoes in my capsule at all – but they feel a little too much like a cop out, even though I could probably use a far fewer restrictions the first time around. That being said, I’d love to hear what you think – how would you tackle Project 333 for the first time?

I just adore those shoes! They are soooo cute!! 😀
And I dunno if I could do the 333 challenge! So scary, haha…but I guess once you get started it wouldn’t be so bad

You look incredible. I love your panda shoes!
Hope you can figure out a way to include them because they’re just too good! I commend you for always being down to do a challenge – I’ve yet to try this one, and so I’m really looking forward to seeing how you tackle it. I think I’d start by focusing on finding a way to incorporate my favorite go-to pieces. Good luck girl!

Hmm, that is a tough one. I lived out of a suitcase for a year, so for a while my options were pretty limited too, I think I wore converse and ankle boots a LOT. Haha. This bag helps, I want one too! Alas, perhaps after my next overseas trip.
Good luck with the project.
