Sezane Autumn Collection Top Picks (2022)

Sezane Autumn Collection 2022 What to Buy

Spending my Sunday night doing a quick little spot of window shopping. As usual, I’ve landed on the Sezane website, and there is so much good stuff. At this point, you’ll be well aware of my shopping strategy.  Browse now, shop later. The whole idea being that I give myself some time to mull over new purchases. So, what five pieces from Sezane’s new autumn collection would I immediately consider adding to cart?

Sezane Bree Jumper Review

Sezane Bree Jumper | A cousin to the Leontine, I was immediately drawn to this sweater. I love that despite being a solid colour piece – in a creamy hue – it’s textured. The cable knitted design is classic and beautiful to look at. I also love that you have the ability to play around with the neckline with that henley element. The tortoiseshell buttons act like a good anchor and focal point. Unlike the Leontine, the sleeves look to have more of a slim or traditional fit. Based on the images, I’d maybe size up to get a really slouchy fit.

Sezane Damon Trousers Review

Sezane Damon Trousers | The classics never go out of style. And I love these. A simple straight cut trouser with a roomy fit through the leg. The turned up cuff at the ankle adds a bit of weight near the foot, while being a subtle detail at the same time. These look cropped on the model, so likely a good full length option for those who are petite or have a short inseam.

Sezane Gabrielle Dress Review

Sezane Gabrielle Dress | First thing that came to mind when I spied this dress? How quintessentially French it felt. The Bridget Bardot-esque loose fitting mini. The mariniere stripes. And of course that signature Sezane detail of the buttons on the shoulder. Also love the fact that it’s made from 100% organic cotton. This is again a style I would maybe consider sizing up in to get that truly oversized fit that’s cut straight up and down (especially as I’m widest at the hip). Imagine this with a pair of ballet flats and a beige trench coat. Cute, non?!

Sezane Tania Skirt Review

Sezane Tania Skirt | An item I was inexplicably drawn to? The Tania skirt. The dark green and navy check, combined with the quilted effect feels really fun, and I could imagine this worn with a super oversized navy or black knit, little boots, and a shacket over the top. Printed, but not loud. This is a great example of the type of item that might not look like it’d fit my typical style profile at first glance. An emotional splurge that would inject some extra personality into my usually classic outfits.

Sezane Albane Loafers Review

Sezane Albane Loafers | Final piece I settled on were the Albane Loafers. On first, second and third look I love these. Loafers have been a big part of my closet for the past decade, and these have that modern element with the heavy tread at the sole. Yet they’re classic enough to align with what I already own. My experience with Sezane shoes has been that they’re well made and high quality leather. Safe to say I’m very, very tempted.

Are you eying up anything in particular?

I ordered the Bree and would recommend sizing up. I like the texture but it is similar to the leontine. I’m hoping they make the Bree in more colors! I really like the fabric of these and that they wash well. I’m thinking about the basile cardigan in navy or Emile but I like the deep cut of the Basile and it would be great for winter. I wish the material was a little nicer but it’s really pretty on. I’ve been wanting to try the Betty for a while now. If anyone has it and wants to comment how they like it or how the wool material feels or holds up I would love to hear! The loafers look adorable too!

Oooh and that’s good to know! As I have the ecru leontine I’ll probably wait to see if they come out with some other colours. I ordered the Betty and it was lovely, but felt a little too mature for me (I got the ecru). I think it’d be great if you had it in a colour. The material isn’t itchy and is a quite nice weight. Semi structured x

You were right the Betty is so much softer than I expected. In fact I tried out a few other wool shirts and they were just as soft! Thank you for the help, I wouldn’t have thought to try wool 🙂

There’s some cute new skirts coming in the fall chapter 2 tomorrow too that look like your style 😉

I also love the green and blue pattern of the Tania skirt. I think you should definitely give it a try!!!

I am so tempted! I had a return which I decided to just get store credit as I know me and I’ll end up placing another order.. so can’t decide whether to get the skirt or the loafers
