I’m one of those people that can be kinda awkward when meeting someone I don’t know. As in, I say something super awkward or my hearing just disappears from me and I’m that person asking someone’s name three or four times before saying ‘oh yeah’ even though I’m not quite sure I heard properly. I think it’s fair to say both things happened when I met Natalie on day one of MBFWA. It wasn’t until we swapped cards that the penny dropped, ‘oh I follow you on instagram!’.
Awkward moments aside, Natalie was an absolute sweetheart every time I saw her, and of course, immaculately dressed. If you asked me, I’d tell you this was my favorite – her first outfit from day one. Wearing a Kenzo tiger sweater, Bec & Bridge skirt, Lanvin heels and a vintage Coach bag, it was a look I’d love to emulate myself, and one I could imagine looking equally chic with a pair of old cons.
simple yet very stylish look! love it!

I really can’t stand that Kenzo jumper. I think it’s such an over-rated item. And all those copies.. But I like the rest of her outfit and she seems like a nice girl. Btw I’m the most shy when meeting new people..

Awesome that you ended up approaching her anyways and I can totally be the same way too! 🙂 I like how she took the somewhat casual sweater and dressed it up a notch. The whole combo is so good! I’ve really enjoyed your streetstyle shots babe! 🙂

Natalie looks so adorable and she just looks approachable. I’m exactly the same as you. I never know what to say since I’m normally fairly quiet until I know people. Ice breakers can be difficult.
