It seems like a bit of a misnomer, wearing all black on a picture perfect sunny day. Why cloak yourself in darkness when there’s ample opportunity to dig out all your summer clothing which has received little wear since the early months of the year, right? Even with sunshine, I can’t help but be a creature of habit, regardless of the perceived ‘stigma’. Just like that rule, not to wear black and navy together, a combination I’m guilty of pairing together countless times, the topic of avoiding black clothing during the summertime seems so arbitrary. The pairing might have seemed a little less vamp-ish, if my skin didn’t so closely mimic the pale qualities of milk, but with a little sunshine and smile, does it really matter?

that skirt is gorgeous! love the print, perfect for summer. I’d imagine it would look great with stripes! then again, what doesn’t. love the tan bag with an all-black outfit x
I would wear all black looks in the Summer too if I had enough, haha. But I don’t have many black pieces 😉 All this don’t wear this color at this time of year nonsense needs to stop 😉
