Proenza Schouler stripe top, Karen Walker jerkin dress (similar), Mimco necklace, Proenza Schouler PS11, Alexander Wang oxfords
I took these photos a few weeks back, when the thought of wanting to wear nothing but sleeveless cotton tanks and high waisted shorts every day seemed inconceivable. Now, you wouldn’t catch me wearing anything quite so heavy, and unlike those who just can’t wait for the days to grow shorter and the air a little crisper, I’m hanging on to every second that the day brings warmth. But so much for my resolution to wear more colour, sometimes there’s no helping what the eye is drawn to, and in my case? It’s a few too many stripes and almost always black and white.

What a lovely simple look. I really love this one 🙂 ♥
I love that dress! The shape is so great. And yea…I’ve actually been wearing less color than usual these days. But still color, ha ha

I have to say, that it’s gorgeous yet the quality is nowhere near as good as other striped tees I’ve purchased as after 5 wears I think it started pilling slightly. If you’re after something similar, and at a lower price point, you should check out Aussie label Bassike – organic cotton and fantastic quality 🙂
Honestly you suit stripes so much I would probably never wear anything else if I were you! 😉 I love the wrap over & collar detail on the dress too. Enjoy the sun & warmth, I’m dying for it to get a little brighter & less chilly over here!

Aw thanks Steph! It’s funny how you accumulate so much of something you enjoy wearing. I feel like every other day I’m in stripes. Hope it gets warm in the UK soon xx
Very Nice !

I really like how you layered up that dress with the tee. Makes it so versatile and I love the silhouette. And yup, we can’t help but being drawn to certain things. I hope you’re settling in well in Sydney! 🙂
