Ever since my first purchase, Quince has become a brand that has slowly made up a larger and larger part of my wardrobe. And I’ve been slowly making my way through their catalogue. At this point, I’ve tried hundreds of items from Quince. Given it can be a little overwhelming to make it though their endless offering of wardrobe staples, I wanted to curate an edit featuring the best spring pieces. The ones that I’m quick to recommend, as they really stand out in terms of value and quality. To make this as helpful as possible, you’ll find real fit notes from the items in my wardrobe, including garment measurements as I know how helpful this is, especially when shopping from a DTC brand. So let’s run through the best Quince pieces to buy for spring.
Quince Mongolian Cashmere Tee | Starting with a great transitional season style, which blends A/W sensibilities with a springtime silhouette. I love how the cashmere (15.8 – 16.2 micron thickness, 12 gauge, 34-36mm fibre length) makes this basic piece feel luxe. Soft on the hand, it’s comfortable to wear and looks effortlessly chic. The thickness of the knit is in line with the brand’s best-selling $50 cashmere crew; with lighter colours, you’ll notice a slight sheerness so I recommend wearing with skin toned undergarments. Also, cashmere does pill – it’s part of the shedding process – so if you don’t already have one, I highly recommend investing in a cashmere comb or sweater rake for maintenance.
Fits true to size for a traditional slim fit. I’ve sized up to an M for more of a relaxed feel. Measures 46cm underarm to underarm and is 59cm long.
Quince Italian Wool Oversized Blazer | Quince’s take on one of my all time favourite blazers from Everlane. And I have to say, it’s very good. While it’s not 100% wool like I’d assumed when I first laid hands on it, there’s nothing giving away the blend – not at a glance, or by touch. The exterior is 55% recycled Italian Wool, blended with polyester and nylon (which I imagine would strengthen the fibres). It’s fully lined, so feels very comfortable to wear despite the textural quality of the wool. I have this in “textured brown”, which reads more as a warm grey in person.
Fits true to size for a relaxed fit. I wear my usual size S. Measures 50cm underarm to underarm and is 76cm long.
Quince 14K Gold Lab Grown Diamond Solitaire Necklace | Definitely don’t sleep on Quince’s 14K gold jewellery pieces. To me, a quiet hit, especially as my own focus tends to lie more on their apparel and leather accessories than anything else. The gold has a creamy hue and gleaming quality, while the lab grown diamond is sparkly and brilliant, catching the light beautifully. This comes in two options – 1 or 2 carats – and the 1 carat is generously sized; enough so that I had to double check the measurements just to be sure! All this is to say, you won’t be disappointed.
Quince Italian Leather Triple Compartment Shopper Tote | A solid workhorse for the office, for those of you seeking out a quality tote. The grained leather is robust; durable and thick, so minor scratches won’t show to the eye. A nice drop for the strap, which fits well over the top of a thick coat – a non-negotiable for me when seeking out a tote like this. The centre zip up compartment neatly fits a 13 inch laptop, and the zipper itself is so smooth you can pull it open and shut using just one hand. There are a few other slip pockets on either side of the central compartment – my only bugbear is that they’re open rather than having some sort of zip closure. It’s available in six colours too, all of which feel like neutrals in their own right. Oh, and it has feet!
Quince Mongolian Cashmere Oversized Crewneck Sweater | Not the first time I’ve mentioned this sweater, and this won’t be the last. If you had to ask me one of my all time favourites from the brand, this would be up there, perhaps in the top spot. It’s perfectly slouchy, made from the softest cushiest cashmere. A literal dream to wear, and the cashmere ages well getting even softer with time (as mentioned earlier, a cashmere comb is a must – this will pill but that’s normal!). While the darker colours are opaque, the ivory cashmere has more of a sheer quality. But to me, a good springtime option.
Fits true to size for a slouchy fit. I recommend sizing down for petites. I wear my usual size S. Measures 61cm underarm to underarm and is 61cm long.
Quince Bella Stretch Straight Jeans | If you’re the type of person who doesn’t enjoying wearing jeans because you find them too rigid, then this is the denim for you. It’s a thick premium denim, in a super stretch fabrication. What I’d call, ‘comfort stretch’. The composition varies depending on the wash, but the medium wash (which I have) is a blend of organic cotton and elasterell. They’ve nailed the cut, a slim cigarette style which feels like a welcome change from the usual slouchy straight jeans we’ve been seeing a lot of lately. Also appreciate that they come in three inseam options; 26, 28 and 30 inch. A great option for petites, and hopefully in future they’ll add longer inseams for those who are taller!
Fits true to size. I wear my usual denim size 26, in the 30 inch inseam for a full length fit. The 28 inch inseam sits just above the ankle bone on me. Measures 36cm across the waistband laid flat, 45 across the hip and 75cm inseam (all unstretched).

Quince Italian Leather Patchwork Crossbody | The second I spied this bag in the new arrivals, I added it to cart. Not my usual practice as I try to refrain from an impulse buy, but this was worth it. So far, one of my favourite purchases of the past year. And given how much I’ve worn it, I’m really happy with how it’s been holding up. Leather has started to soften up beautifully, but not in that overly slouchy way that the original Loewe Puzzle (which this is modelled after) is want to do. Basically, if you like this style, you can’t go wrong. It’s a stunning pebbled leather – my favourite leather that Quince uses for their bags. You can read my full review here.
Quince 100% Organic Cotton Poplin Long Sleeve Shirt | I know I’ve mentioned this one before, but a classic style to have for your transitional season wardrobe. Personally I like to size up to get a nice relaxed fit; to me, a solid wardrobe workhorse and the look and feel is on par with more expensive cotton shirts that I own. Fairly lightweight quality, which is ideal if you live in a hotter climate like I do. Comes in an array of colours, too!
Fits true to size for a traditional relaxed fit. Go up 1-2 sizes if you want a loose fit – I went up two, to a size L. Measures 58cm underarm to underarm and is 77cm long (at back – 2cm shorter in front).
Quince 100% European Linen Tank Mini Dress | The perfect, minimal, spring and summer mini dress. To me, a style that is easily dressed up or dressed down. Silhouette is simple, fastening with a button closure at the nape of the neck. The best part? It has POCKETS! Also have to appreciate the fact that it’s fully lined too with cotton. Very comfortable to wear. A 10 out of 10. The a-line silhouette is very flattering as well.
Fits a little on the larger side. I wear size XS (one size down from my usual). Measures 47cm underarm to underarm and is 85cm long.
Quince Italian Leather Twist Mid Heel Mule | Chic mules, with a decent heel, and super soft leather. That’s how I’d distill these sandals into three parts if asked. The design is minimal, yet feels impactful because o the twisted strap at the toe. Surprisingly, delisted their height, these are comfortable to walk in, largely in part I think due to the fact that the heel is solid. The fact that these cost less than $100 USD is wild to me.
Fits true to size. I am an EU40 (with a wide foot) and I wear my usual US10.
Quince Italian Wool Straight Leg Pants | Definitely one of the most underrated items I’ve ever tried from Quince. These are the perfect work trouser, which can also be dialled down for the weekend. Made from 96% virgin wool and 4% elastane, these have a touch of stretch to them. But what I like, is the elasticated back at the waist. It gives them a polished look with the flat front, while giving you a bit of give and comfort at the back. A classic silhouette that in my opinion, won’t date. The wool has a slightly textured quality to it, and they aren’t lined so if you’re particularly sensitive you may find these uncomfortable to wear (I’m mildly sensitive and find them fine). The fabric is lightweight so a good transitional season option.
Fits one size large; I wear size US2 (I’m normally a 26 in jeans or US4). Measures 35cm across the waistband laid flat, 45cm across the hip and 75cm inseam.
Quince Cotton Cashmere Ribbed Sleeveless Midi Dress | I’m not typically one to wear a fitted dress like this, but I can’t deny just how lovely it is. It’s a blend of organic cotton, ecovero lenzing and cashmere, which has a plush quality on the hand. Super smooth, and incredibly comfortable to wear. My favourite detail, besides the ribbed yarn, is the boatneck design. Super flattering on those who are smaller busted or narrow across the shoulders. This is a great option if you’re wanting to get something to wear now and later, but also through a pregnancy as the yarn has a lot of give.
Fits true to size, but size down if you’d prefer a more body con fit. I wear size S.
Quince 100% Organic Cotton Poplin Tiered Maxi Skirt | A beautifully feminine skirt, the tiered ruffled design creates a lovely a-line silhouette which is universally flattering. Combined with the soft elastic waist, it’s so comfortable to wear. The white, is fully lined (the other colours are not), and they have functional pockets – no disruption to the line of the skirt. The elasticated waist is incredibly soft and stretchy, so I do recommend sizing down one.
A generous fit, I recommend sizing down one. I wear size XS. Measures 32cm across the waistband unstretched, and 93cm long.
Quince 100% European Linen Maxi Skirt | This is beyond chic. While I think the tiered maxi is very flattering, this to me has an elegant quality to the cut and design. I especially love the side split detail, which reveals just a touch of leg. The elastic band on the linen maxi is much more firm and rigid than on the cotton maxi, so I think I could have stood to opt for my usual size. The navy isn’t lined, though doesn’t need it. Has beautiful movement, too.
I would recommend sticking to your usual size, but you can size down if you wish, too (snug fit). I wear size XS. Measures 34cm across the waistband unstretched, and 93cm long.
Quince Vintage Wash Tencel Camp Shirt | One of the brand’s bestsellers, and it’s not hard to see why. I’ve had mine for a few years (it’s got the old tag), and to me, it’s a chic alternative to a short sleeved cotton shirt. Tencel has a silky quality which feels so comfortable to wear, and the design has this slightly flicked detail to the sleeve. It’s simple and minimal, but details here count for everything. Not to mention it is wrinkle, static, and shrink resistant!
Fits true to size for a relaxed fit. I wear size S. Measures 64cm underarm to underarm, and 65cm long in the front, 77cm long in the back.
Quince Stretch Cotton Jersey Sleeveless Mock Neck Top | Quince does a few different silhouettes in this lightweight, contoured style which hugs the curves of your body. Great basics, especially when paired with an interesting neckline. This has some fun details that I’m personally drawn to. The mock neck (great for pairing under shirts or knits), and the ruching to the sides. This is more of a cropped silhouette to the sides, so doesn’t tuck as well into high rise pants as other styles might, but that’s definitely not a deal breaker for me. I recommend wearing with a skin toned bra if opting for the white.
Fits true to size. I’m wearing size S. Measures 44cm underarm to underarm and is 55cm long (in the centre).
Quince Stretch Cotton Jersey Boat Neck Tank | If I were just to choose one out of these two basic (but not basic) tanks, it would be this one. The boat neck is again enormously flattering for those who have narrow shoulders or a small bust. I like that this hugs the curves, and is a super comfortable stretch cotton. Long enough through the body to tuck into trousers and skirts with ease. Planning to get this in more colours, for sure!
Fits true to size for a contoured fit. I wear size S. Measures 43cm underarm to underarm and is 52cm long.
Quince 100% European Linen Long Sleeve Shirt | Again can I just say, Quince does tailored shirts well. This is another bestseller, and with good reason. The linen has that lovely organic feel, with texture, but is soft and ages well. Love the dainty buttons too. As you size up, the sleeves remain ever so slightly slim so it avoids looking too oversized even if you achieve that width and length through the body. LOTS of colour options too. 100% yes.
Fits true to size for a traditional fit. I sized up to a M for a relaxed fit; sleeves are still quite slim to the arm. Measures 54cm underarm to underarm and is 78cm long.
Quince 100% Organic Cotton Boyfriend Crew Sweater | If you’re thinking about swapping the cashmere for cotton knits, may I recommend starting here? I love the nonchalant, slouchy fit of this knit, with the thick ribbed trim. The actual knit itself is sturdy, weighty even, and so comfortable to wear. Huge colour selection as well. Despite not needing to, I size up in this style for an even more eased out silhouette. The high low hemline is great as you don’t have too much fabric to tuck into your waistband.
Fits true to size for a relaxed fit. Size up for an even slouchier vibe. I wear size M. Measures 59cm underarm to underarm, 55cm long in the front, and 68cm long in the back.
Quince 100% Organic Cotton Striped Crew Sweater | The brand does a few Jenni Kayne dupes, and this is the best outside of their cashmere cocoon cardigan. I’ve owned both, and actually, preferred the quality of the Quince one (I found the JK one didn’t wear too well, sadly!). Another slouchy, relaxed style knit which is IMO very easy to wear and style. Love the thick trim at the collar/neckline. FYI, I was mistakenly sent a size Large – two sizes larger than ordered – but actually kind of love the fit.
Fits true to size for a relaxed fit. You can size up with this if you prefer a slouchier vibe. I wear size L. Measures 67cm underarm to underarm and is 52cm long.
Quince Italian Leather Mary Jane Ballet Flat | A shoe so good I own it in all three colours. Which I think, says everything. One thing to note about ballerinas is that they don’t really offer any insole support, but I do find these very comfortable to wear because the thinner sole makes it feel almost like you’re not wearing shoes at all (in a good way!). Basically, I tend to reach for these a lot on mornings when I’m not sure on the shoes. Clearly, a riff off Loeffler Randalls Maryjane ballerinas and I’m not at all mad about the price. Wears well too as the leather softens up beautifully.
Fits true to size. I wear my usual US10 in Quince shoes.
Quince Cotton Linen Relaxed Cardigan | One of those items that I easily reach for, on repeat. In the ivory especially, it tends to pair well with everything, and looks especially chic when worn with denim. Another JK dupe (this time for the Cody cardigan, I believe!). The cotton/linen blend has a lovely raw and organic quality to it which feels airy, yet thick and weighty. Love the split seam detail at the sides too.
Fits true to size for a relaxed fit. Recommend sizing down for petites. I wear size S. Measures 55cm underarm to underarm and is 68cm long.
Quince 100% European Linen Pleated Trousers | I feel like no one is talking about these trousers. Chic, with a tailored feel during to the pleat front pant. But comfortable as they have that elastic waist back. Checking all the boxes. Also have to appreciate the fact that they’re lined, and the linen is ultra soft and loamy.
Fits a little generous at the waist. I wear my usual US4, and while it’s designed for a mid rise, I do have some room at the waist. Measures 36cm across the waistband unstretched, 51cm across the hip and 73cm inseam.
Quince 100% Organic Cotton Denim Chore Jacket | Another piece not to sleep on; this denim chore jacket. My pick of all the denim jackets, as it has this cool, relaxed vibe to it. Largely down to the fit and all longer length through the body. The denim is thick, sturdy, and weighty. I also love how the mid blue pairs with the silver tone buttons. Large patch pockets round out the piece – big enough to pop in an iPhone.
Relaxed fit; recommend sizing up if you wanted something a bit more eased out. I wear size M. Measures 51cm underarm to underarm and is 72cm long.
Quince 100% Leather Oversized Biker Jacket | The jacket that gets me compliments – and garners questions – every time I wear it. Also, the heaviest jacket I own on rotation. She’s weighty! The leather used is just beautiful. A thick, robust pebbled leather; luxurious to the touch and feels miles above the $250 USD price tag (seriously, I’d expect to pay more for this). The zippers are smooth (Quince use the best – YKK!) and the interior is lined. Very chill, eased out fit. I do wish this had an extra inch through the body just to balance my proportions better, but I reach for it nonetheless as it’s a great piece.
Fits true to size for a relaxed oversized look. Recommend sizing down for petites. I wear size S. Measures 51cm underarm to underarm and is 63cm long.
Quince 100% European Linen Vest | We’re continuing to see these tailored vests dominate during the spring/summer season, and I think it’s a nice way to add that refined touch to a sleeveless silhouette. The details are everything; the way it has a high-low hemline (shorter at back), and of course, the fabric covered buttons. It’s also lined too, making this one feel like incredible value for money. The linen feels very nice against the hand. Only thing to note is that is runs large.
Fits large. I recommend sizing down. Wearing my usual size S here (gapes a little across the underarm). Measures 48cm underarm to underarm, and 58cm long at the front to the bottom tip of the waistcoat.
