One stunning image can be all it takes to convince me of adding a new destination or hotel to my travel bucket list, but never has that been more true than with The Bower in Byron Bay. Curiosity always gets the better of me, and after learning of the suites from a dear friend who is headed to Byron to stay there in a couple of weeks (who I might add has impeccable taste), I found myself taking a quick peek at The Bower on google, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The beachside accommodation combines an elegant simplicity with the perfect mix of contemporary and vintage decor, striking a careful balance between the two.
It’s the kind of aesthetic that I find myself more and more drawn to, an earthier, rustic feel which has a sense of calm about it – the kind of accomodation where you’d feel like you could really unwind – which can perhaps also attributed to the laid back nature of Byron Bay itself. I don’t think I’d find myself ever wanting to leave. Safe to say I’m taking notes for our next move, as I find myself craving that warmth which comes naturally from the eclectic mix of old and new.
