You know me, when I spot a bargain that is too good to resist, I just have to share it. And Tarte’s End of Year sale is one you won’t want to miss. There’s up to 70% off new markdowns, and 20% off sale items at checkout using the code “SALE”.
I’ve been using Tarte for a few years now (you all know how much I love the Rainforest of the Sea Deep Sea Super Serum), and I was thrilled to spot a so many gems on sale, so I thought I’d round up a handful of my top picks.
One of my favourite things about Tarte is in addition to being cruelty-free and hypoallergenic, their products are free from parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate and gluten. Oh, and they offer loads of vegan options, including some of their cult classics like the Shape Tape Concealer, Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer, and the Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation.
Not to mention the fact that the pigmentation is insane. Their eyeshadow palettes pack a serious punch, and it helps that they’re such a dream to blend out.
So to kick things off, I just had to mention the Tartelette Give, Gift, Get Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Wardrobe. This includes two of Tarte’s best-selling eyeshadow palettes reimagined in limited edition “petite” sizes, as well as a romantic new palette. The best part is that you can pop these apart and keep one ( or two, or all three!) for you, and gift the others to your friends. Lil’ Bloom has nine neutral everyday shades (I use the original In Bloom palette almost daily and it is just the best!); Lil’ Toasted has nine warm bronze shades; and Lil’ Juicy has nine romantic pink and plummy shades.
If you’re someone who craves colour, then the Tarteist PRO REMIX Amazonian Clay Palette is the one for you. This palette has a rich and vibrant combination of 20 shades which span from easy-to-wear neutrals, to big and bold brights. There are six different finishes in this palette; matte, luster, metallic, duochrome, shimmer and glitter. For lips, there’s a few goodies to snap up on sale but by far my favourites would have to be the Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Lipgloss for a silky smooth satin finish (I personally love the shade “Sass”); the Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint for a lashing of colour that won’t budge all day (I am wearing the shade “XOXO” above); or the Merry Kissmas Lip Quad for a subtle wash of colour.
My final pick from the sale is the Everyday Neutral Eye & Cheek Palette. This is essentially a look in a palette – just add base (and brows!). The compact size is perfect for stashing in your handbag, and the carefully curated eyeshadows will easily take you from day to night.
