In case you haven’t had a chance to watch my most recent YouTube video, I shared some pretty big news this morning: Luke and I bought a house! As you can probably imagine, it’s a massive milestone, and one I’ve been so excited to share.
While I wouldn’t exactly say it’s quite a fixer upper, there’s a fair bit of work that we have planned for the property; we’ve already begun painting a fair bit of the interior (it never ceases to amaze me how much of an impact a fresh coat of paint can have!), and as the bathroom isn’t watertight, we have plans to start renovating it in the next few weeks.
What I love most about the property, aside from the gorgeous wooden floors (which we’ve had sanded back and re-stained) and the natural light streaming through the windows, is that it has an unlimited amount of potential. We’re planning to put our own touches on the house – both inside and out – in the coming months, and I’m looking forward to sharing our renovation journey with you all. I’ll be sharing regular VLOGs and updates on my YouTube channel so make sure you’re subscribed if you want to follow along with our progress, as we’ll be doing as much of the renovations as we can ourselves.
